The day I climbed O'Cebreiro- where the Celts and Romans lived, and Christian pilgrims have gone for centuries- it was a beautiful fine day. I reached the top around lunchtime and decided to stay the night there, so got hours to enjoy the views. Then next morning I left early to avoid the heat, and got to see the most magical sunrise over the peaks.Kiwi Nomadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13351034705766073667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4808375493800890797.post-82812524024862917752009-03-06T08:40:00.000-05:002009-03-06T08:40:00.000-05:00Perhaps like Peter's mountaintop experience in thi...Perhaps like Peter's mountaintop experience in this Sunday's gospel?Concord Pastorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18322127779647130869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4808375493800890797.post-16601620304746124642009-03-06T04:54:00.000-05:002009-03-06T04:54:00.000-05:00When I walked the Camino last year I stopped part ...When I walked the Camino last year I stopped part way up the Pyrenees crossing to spend the night at a place called Orisson. That evening I saw the most spectacular rainbow I have ever seen in my life. It stretched right across the sky with the mountains behind, and as the sky darkened, you could see a second bow with it. It was one of those precious times in life that you want to remember forever.Kiwi Nomadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13351034705766073667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4808375493800890797.post-431536915307067452009-03-04T10:26:00.000-05:002009-03-04T10:26:00.000-05:00I dont beleive I had ever heard any other story of...I dont beleive I had ever heard any other story of a rainbow other than the Wizard of Oz..or if I did, I disregarded it.

I wont ever look at one the same now.
