Just in time for tomorrow's feast of St. Francis of Assisi, Rocco over at Whispers in the Loggia gives us a heads-up on a new biography of Pope Benedict XVI - written from the perspective of one of his cats!
The foreword is written by the Pope's secretary, Monsignor Georg Ganswein and includes these words to youngsters:
Dear children, here you will find a biography that is different from others because it is told by a cat and it is not every day a cat can consider the Holy Father his friend and sit down to write his life story...I'm sure St. Francis will smile upon this literary venture!
Cat lovers: care to comment?
I'm surpised that the cat wrote it...he must have had someone transcribe for him. Everyone knows...dog's have owners, cat's have staff. :-)
