Guadalupe!
An image of Guadalupe carved into a tree trunk on the grounds of a church in Albuquerque, NM; if you look carefully, you can see Juan Diego's face at the base of the image.
The word "catholic" means universal. For an experience of the broad universality of Catholicism, check out Rocco's three successive posts on this year's celebration of the feast Our Lady of Guadalupe here, here and here. (Be sure to play the YouTube videos!)
Spend a few minutes pondering the faith, the prayer, the understanding of church which supports what you see and hear on those three posts: it will stretch your imagination of all things Catholic!
