I've already posted on our parish Evening Prayer but I wanted to remind those who are close by to join us on Sunday night at 7:00 for this beautiful Advent liturgy of light, prayer and song.
In the past, I've been accused of being a little heavy-handed with the incense at liturgical celebrations. I suppose it's a case of "Different smoke for different folks!" But for those who think I over do the incense, take a look at the thurible at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and how their prayer rises like incense to God!
