The triumph of red and green!

There was an exchange below about the color and symbolism of the candles for an Advent Wreath. But that was definitely not the last word! Thanks to Todd at Catholic Sensibility for letting us know that the Pope's Advent Wreath has red candles! Evidently this is the custom for the German Adventkranz and likely what the Pope grew up with.
