It took a while but I've finally found some fairly decent footage of the Nativity in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican!
You'll remember that this new setting for the Nativity raised a bit of a ruckus here before Christmas.
When linking to the video I'd suggest you turn the sound off on your computer: the music leaves much to be desired.
Given that this new creche scene has some scriptural basis and it is attractive, I think, I find it a refreshing change. Having a discussion about a Nativity scene is a good thing.
