Word for Epiphany Week
Take a glance at the top of the sidebar and the scripture from Epiphany's first reading...
Things getting you down even as the new year is just beginning? Looking down the road and find that you can't see too far? Light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel problems? Feel like you're walking in a haze?
Isaiah has a word for you and it calls you to trust that when darkness covers the earth and thick clouds are all around you, it's time right then to trust that the Lord's light comes to shine on you, that like the sun the Lord's warmth is piercing through the dark chill to shine on your path and on your face... To feel that warmth upon your face and in your heart, make every effort to do what the Lord asks of you: Rise up - and greet the one who appears to you in glory!
