Not forgetting the bright and shiny past...
Well, the end of Super Bowl XLII proves to be a sad epilogue to the glories of an undefeated season.
As an admitted end-of-the-season fan and follower of the Pats, the score of tonight's game won't interfere for a moment with my sleep. But my heart goes out to those whose hearts were in this contest since the season's first game and in every play since the first coin toss.
One thing I'm sure of: the New England Patriots never wanted for deeply loyal fans who, I trust, will remain proud and grateful for a perfect regular season, only 4 points shy of a perfect year.

Well put....there is always next year and after all it was only ONE game.
ReplyDeleteThose rings are pretty gaudy looking!
ReplyDeleteI was disgusted. I sure wish Jack was there to help cheer me up. ROB
