Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

This afternoon I visited my friend Betty - you met her in my homily this past Sunday.

So many good things have happened in the last few days! Betty had been intubated but her breathing tube has been removed. She's wearing an oxygen mask and she's still weak but she was bright, alert, communicative and looking ahead! She'll begin a new treatment tomorrow that she hopes will expeditioiusly remedy a serious problem. But if that fails, a more complex remedy stands at the ready.

I told Betty about how many people have been praying for her and she is most grateful. Please continue to keep her and her family in your prayer...
