The Catholic New Service (CNS) Blog is introducing a new feature coinciding with the Synod of Bishops (just begun in Rome) on the topic of the Word of God in the life and mission of the Church. This series will offer occasional articles on understanding the scriptures - something for which we never outgrow the need! (In my own parish we just completed a week of Faith Festivals to kick off our faith formation program and the topic was - understanding the Bible!)Here's a link to the first installment in this series.
