The Site Meter reports...

100,000 hits!
1,417 posts!

It was 19 months ago that this venture began. In my first post I wrote, "I don't know if I have or can make the time to keep this fresh but I do know that if it becomes stale, it will disappear." Well, it's not so much that I've found the time: the time keeps finding me! After 1,416 posts, it's your faithful visits that prompt me, daily, to keep going - along with my love for writing and communicating in this medium.

My 100,000th visitor hailed from Woburn, Massachusetts but every single hit along the way has been most appreciated. Thank you for your interest, your comments and especially for spreading the word to others!

  4. Congrats, Concord Pastor. Your blog is an inspiration, and I especially look forward to reading the Morning Offering on Mondays. I live in Woburn and wonder if I was the lucky 100,000th visitor, but no matter. All who visit your site have been blessed at least that many times over. Thanks for pastoring so many people via the Web.

  6. I was noticing earlier in the week that you were approaching 100,00..that is really remarkable! Congratulations! Thanks so much for doing this, your blog is so rich with music, poetry, spiritual reflection, commentary, news and humor... A delightful mix indeed! What I especially appreciate is your balanced approach which always challenges us to consider all sides of an issue...

PS: Do tell, who was visitor 100,000?

  7. SiteMeter tells me that visitor 100,000 was from Woburn but gives me no further identifying info. Marilyn,
above, may be correct that she was the magic number visitor. If she was on from 7:17-7:20 last night - that's her! I do know that I have only one visitor from Castle Rock, CO - and she was number 99,999 - so close!

Congratulations, CP! I for one try to find some time every day to sneak a peak at your blog (please do not tell my employer this!)

I find your commentary to be thought provoking even in those instances where I don't agree with your position.

I LOVE reading the weekly homily and especially enjoy seeing the various angles from which your other readers comment upon your posts!

Thank you for your dedication to this blog, it has become a regular part of my day.

I hope someday to make it to your parish to see you preach "Live".

My other goal will be to be visitor #200,000!

  9. If visitor #100,000 was on at 7:17 pm on Thursday, it was not me, as I was at the Nativity Prep -Boston fundraising dinner then (a wonderful cause, for those not familiar with it). But I must have been close, as I was on earlier in the day. I'm glad to contribute in a small way in getting this wonderful site to that "magic" number.

  10. What an achievement! I am actually not even sure how I found your blog... I am embarrassed to even say that but it is true.

I do know this - I am glad that I did, this is a place that causes me to think and to pray and to share.

Thank you for all that you do Concord Pastor!

  12. Well, I am not sure what prompted you to start this, but it is indeed a blessing!

Some days it gives me reasons to ponder, some days it irks me into unwanted self realizations, some days it brings thought provoking things to mind that cause me to share with others. But mostly, it brings me solace.

    Thank you! oh, and congratulations!
