Trinity Sunday 09
This coming weekend we celebrate Trinity Sunday. I've posted a widget with some music on themes Trinitarian, including several settings of the Creed in which our Trinitarian faith and theology are expressed. Fans of composer Arvo Part will be pleased to find two of his pieces posted. The instrumental Credo of Ballymacoda is a simple and soothing instrumental I hope you'll enjoy listening to. And don't miss the Britten Te Deum in C and the rolling beauty of the Tallis Scholars' performance of Byrd's Mass for Four Voices. Among the hymns you'll find Ellington's Come Sunday. Wish I could have found a mellower rendition to offer here but this jazz jewel shines in any arrangement.
