Every week, Paul,
Between the 'Burgh and the City, offers
his own reflection on the Sunday scriptures and a round-up of homilies. This week he included a blog I've not
seen before but I'm glad Paul has brought City Father to our attention, the work of Ronald Franco, CSP, a member of the Missionary Society of Saint Paul the Apostle (The Paulist Fathers) and Vice-Postulator for the Canonization Cause of Isaac Hecker, founder of the Paulist Fathers.
Fr. Franco is a good, thoughtful writer and I'm pleased to be acquainted with his work. Check out
City Father's homily on the
good Samaritan - very well done!
Effective August 1, 2010, Franco will be Pastor of
Immaculate Conception Parish, Knoxville, TN.
Effective immediately,
City Father will enjoy a place on the blog roll on my sidebar.

Good blog, thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteOn another sad note, by now you heard about Father Jim Field. His passing is a great loss for Incarnation Parish in Melrose, for the church of Boston and to those of us who still believe in the Vatican II reform of the liturgy. Rest in peace!!
