I posted last week on the custom of blessing one's home on the feast of the Epiphany.
My weekly letter in this Sunday's bulletin included a simple blessing service and we placed baskets of blessed chalk at the doors.
To tease the attention of parishioners, I inscribed the traditional formula on the church doors and judging from the amount of chalk that went home, I think this was a helpful ploy!
