On this past Friday at a supermarket in Orleans, MA, a marching band flash-mobbed a performance of Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever.
Pray with me:
Dear God,
May I never become so jaded
as to continue shopping a frozen food aisle
while a brass band flourishes all around me!
Amen.

ReplyDeletebrought me to teaunicanxtrs! Not sure all the emotions involved - but patriotism of course is one - and then thinking of the people witnessing this - how special they must feel. The proud feeling of the participants as they planned and then executed this - It's just so full of emotions and feelings! Wonderful!
