My friend Rob, the Concord Carpenter, posted this on his FB page this morning. If you read my Lenten prayer post for today you already know why I like this image. One of the great gifts of spring is that beauty sprouts up everywhere - and often in unexpected places. Here, this blossom pokes its head through a pile of construction debris.
Don't look only in parks and gardens for signs of spring and hope. Keep your eyes open and welcome them wherever you find them - even within yourself!
