ReplyDelete(okay, you didn't ask US, but I'd like to offer- or "confess"- something)
most days, if not every day, I pack my backpack or little shoulder bag for the day...
and, I come across that little pocket cross-
sometimes I am surprised to have "found" it-
like I have "forgotten" that I had put it in my bag...
and, for a moment, I hesitate, with anxiety, and try to decide whether or not to take it with me, again, today...
I usually decided to yes, take it with me, "just in case I need it"...
(hello?!! who am I kidding? I always need it, but that would mean I would have to...
keep trying...
keep going through all that... )
so I look at that little cross with anxiety and sadness and confusion, and, maybe...
someday...
hope.
