How to celebrate the Baptist's birthday?
I suppose you could bake him a cake but given his preferred diet, you might want to make the snacks featured above - and here's the recipe.
Of course, the best way to celebrate John's birth is celebrate the Eucharist and in preparation for that to read over the scriptures we'll hear this weekend when his feast day falls on Sunday, June 24.

My grandkids always call these "ants on a log", but they are not quite as fancy! We just raisins and either cream cheese or peanut butter!
