The day after Thanksgiving...
Forgive our overindulgence on Thanksgiving, Lord,
even as we begin to plan and shop for Christmas...
Remind us that the folks we helped feed yesterday
will be hungry again tomorrow
and that food pantries are open 365 days a year...
Make us grateful for all we have:
make us mindful of the needs of others
before providing ourselves with more than we need...
