Christmas word games

I don't send many Christmas cards: just three this year and I only had two left in a box on my bureau.

So this afternoon, while waiting for a prescription to be filled at the drug store, I shopped for a third card and came across this seasonal display:

If I'm not mistaken, some cards used to be grouped together under the "R" word: Religious.  But perhaps "religious" now offends - or, even worse, doesn't sell.

Well, this Reverend bought a reverent card for a friend who's very religious!
