A midday prayer: FRIDAY 1/11


  


Lord,
   lift my face to the light and warmth of your love,
      shining bright upon me
         on this cold and cloudy day...

although I like this prayer,
and hope for someday to really like it, for me-

I must admit, this cloudy day was actually comforting to me-
and I was thankful for it-

right now, bright, sunny days are still too...
revealing...
exposing...

but, I am working on all of this-
and hope and pray, that someday soon- (hopefully sooner than later)-
I will be just as thankful for the bright sunny days as the darker, cloudy ones-

because, God gives us ALL of these days-
