Yesterday afternoon, in a moment of pure grace,
the Lord spoke to my heart
and drew me out of myself to him, in prayer...
I wonder how long he'd been trying to get my attention,
how often he nudged me before I noticed,
how many times he called my name before I heard him...
Give me the grace I need today
to hear you when you call me, Lord,
and to turn my heart to you in prayer...
