There's not a moment of the day or night
when the Lord isn't waiting, patiently,
to sit with me, talk with me, listen to me vent,
give me a shoulder to cry on,
share in my secret hopes and dreams,
to counsel and guide me and forgive me...
Lord, you've set aside this whole day for me:
there won't be a moment when you're too busy
to spend some time with me;
let me not be too busy
to spend some time with you...
In fact, how about right now, Lord?
