A midday prayer: FRIDAY 3/8

I will bless the Lord at all times, 
   his praise shall be ever in my mouth...
- Psalm 34 
    

It's easy to praise you on the good days, Lord,
   when all's well and the road is smooth...

But give me faith and strength 
   to praise you every day 
and especially when the skies are gray
   and the road uneven...

May my heart bless you at all times, Lord,
    and your praise be always on my lips...
