A midday prayer: MONDAY 3/25

In this Holy Week, Lord,
   restore my heart, refresh my heart,
      renew my heart, replenish my heart,
         and make it again
            the heart you first made it to be...

Nourish within me everything that makes my heart strong
   and help me let go what burdens and weakens my soul...

Let these holy days, this week, heal my brokenness:
   let you love and mercy mend and give my heart
the peace I long for...

Remind me of blessings past, Lord,
   and help me trust in blessings yet to come...

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
   and put a new and steadfast spirit in my soul...
