Pause for Prayer: TUESDAY 4/30

I have many unanswered prayers, Lord.
Or are they really prayers
with answers I struggle to accept?
answers I have yet to understand?

Whatever the case may be:
I welcome the warmth and beauty of the spring:
a sunshine clear reply to all my pleas for winter's end,
an answer to my prayers for peace of mind and heart,
a season's gift of grace embedded deep within my soul...

In the warm breeze on my cheek, in buds and flowers blooming,
in the light of longer days and in everything that's green:
show me the answers to my prayers, Lord,
and restore my faith and trust in you...

  1. when I woke up this morning, I lay quietly and still, and I prayed-

and later when I read this, I thought, with a pleasant surprise (and glimmer of hope)...

that's what I prayed this morning!

well, my prayer was just a few words like yours- the ones at the very end-
but, those few similar words helped give me hope...

    thank you.
