It's so easy to let things slide, Lord,
to put off till tomorrow
what I don't want to do today...
I'm so good at finding things to do
besides the things I really ought to do
today...
I'm quite adept at forgetting to do
the very things that yesterday
I promised I'd do today...
So, push me, Lord, to finally do
what I need to do, what I want to do,
what you'd have me do - today...
And, Lord, help me know what that is,
today...
