Lord,
you know everything that's going to happen
in my life today...
Lacking that knowledge,
I might worry and fret over what I don't know,
second guessing all I say and do,
hiding from things I need not fear...
What a waste of a day, Lord!
So I pray for the faith and trust I need
to accept this day as it comes,
to place my day in your hands
and to live this day in your peace...
Amen.
