help me walk into your light, Lord...
From the shadows of my sorrows,
draw me safe into the light...
When grief shades every thought I have,
let wisdom walk me into light...
In the forests of my burdens,
guide my path into the light...
When pain eclipses peace of mind,
let healing ease me into light...
When loss deprives my soul of joy,
then lift my spirit to the light...
When hope is dark and dusky, Lord,
then lead my steps into your light...
When tears obscure and blur my sight,
lead me, guide me into light...
