Perfect timing!

I don't know how the Vatican times the release of important documents and messages but from a preacher's perspective, the timing of the publication today of the pope's encyclical on the environment could not be more perfect!

Take a look at the scripture readings for this coming Sunday's Mass in Catholic churches around the world.  The Sunday readings rotate through a three year cycle such that these same readings were read three years ago this weekend and will be heard again three years from now.
