Pause for Prayer: FRIDAY, July 24

I know there'll come a time today
when crossing others' paths:
a time for me to gently share
my faith and hope
in God...

I know there'll come a time today
in simple conversation:
a time for me to gently share
the trust I have
in God...

I know there'll come a time today
when I meet someone's pain:
a time for me to gently share
the healing love
of God...

I know there'll come a time today
when I'll be called to speak:
a time for me to gently share
a simple word
of faith...

When that time comes, and sure it will,
I pray I have the heart to say:
a word of faith, of hope, of love,
a simple word
of God...

Amen.


Pray we all be mindful 
and have the heart to gently speak
a simple word of God
- when that time comes today...
