that the beauty of this tree is not as great
as the glory of your grace within my heart...

help me remember, help me see and help me trust
that your Spirit deep within
outshines a forest of October trees aglow...
Lord,
help me remember, help me see and understand
how autumn's glory, born of letting go,
fades and falls and finds new hope in you...
Lord,
help me remember, help me see, help me believe
that every loss I know makes way for you
to dwell in glory in my soul...
