Yesterday, in a conversation with a friend, I had occasion
to recommend the Serenity Prayer. Afterwards I was
reflecting on how important this prayer has long been and
still is, in my own life --- and that I hadn't posted it here for
some time...
God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference...
