Well, maybe I've not been all alone, Lord,
my violet's been my partner in prayer:
your living beauty anointing my vision
with healing, beauty and color...

blessing my soul with peace...
Stay with me, Lord, each step of the way,
on the silent path of my heart's desre
and in your patience, wait for me
