I know what I want the most today, Lord,
   but you know exactly what I truly need...

You know what I need, Lord,

   and you know how you plan to help me

        find, have and use what I need

    to walk this day in peace

        with you, with others and with myself...

Help me see as you do what I need, Lord,
    and not just what I want
and when you offer me your helping hand,
   help me take it, Lord, in mine...

I need all the help that I can get, Lord,
     all the help you're ready to give me, 

        all the grace that's yours to share...
