Lord,
dawn in my heart as the rising sun,
surprising my morning with joy...
Dawn with your wisdom's piercing light
and broaden my mind's horizon...
Dawn with glory beyond my conceiving
and color my soul in hues of hope….
Dawn in my prayer with your peaceful presence,
the grace of heaven at home in my heart...
Dawn on my day, Lord, and dance by my side
'til the sun sets at dusk and deep my heart...
