Pause for Prayer: SUNDAY 7/7

I know there'll come a time today
when crossing others' paths:
    a time for me to gently share
    my faith and hope
    in God...

I know there'll come a time today
in simple conversation:
    a time for me to gently share
    the trust and hope I have
    in God...

I know there'll come a time today
when I meet someone's pain:
    a time for me to gently share
    the healing love
    of God...

I know there'll come a time today
when I'll be called to speak:
    a time for me to gently share
    a simple word
    from my heart's faith...

When that time comes, as sure it will,
I pray I have the heart to speak:
    a word of faith, of hope, of love,
    a simple word of who God is, 

    of who God is for me...
