Lord,
for times when I look back

    on what has been
and find your fingerprints
    on every moment in my life -
for this I give you thanks and praise...

For times when I look back
    on what has been
and see how you, in mercy,
    washed away, erased my many sins -
for this I give you thanks and praise...

For times when I look back
    on what has been
and see how you have mended
    what I wounded and left broken -
for this I give you thanks and praise...

And for times when I look forward
    to days all yet to be
and see how you will always 

    touch, forgive and heal my soul -
for this I give you thanks and praise,
for this I thank and praise you, Lord...
