One line stands out in the readings for me, and that is the last line on the Gospel. "Your faith has saved you." In times of great sadness in my life I admit to having doubts of God's presence in my life. But when I look back to the worst times, (so far!), it has been my faith that got me through the sadness.
This Sunday's readings are proper to June 29, the feast of Saints Peter and Paul.Click the bible above for the readings and some brief commentary.
Homily: June 22

Help for Haiti
Reach out to the people of Haiti with health care, education and community development through Health Equity International (formerly known as the St. Boniface Haiti Foundation).
Your blog is very creative. I like that you use humor with the Pope cartoon, which lightens the mood on the more serious topic of scripture.
