View from my window: report from the South

Another beautiful day in North Carolina - 76˚!

Above is the view from my bedroom window at my cousin's home. A little haze when I took the picture but all the windows in the house are open and warm breezes are blowing in. As you can see from the photo, this area has been hit by drought. Although the forecast for tomorrow is rain, that will be very welcome in these parts where serious water bans are in effect.

Hope my gloating here doesn't find me flying home into snow!

  1. So, ConcordPastor, will you be arranging a beautiful insalata caprese for tomorrow's dinner? All the best for a wonderful day shared with your family. Throughout the year you provide so much to so many of us. Just in case you have not heard me say this before; thank you, ConcordPastor.

  2. No - there are already enough cooks here - I'll not spoil the broth by being one too many!

Just going to sit back, relax and enjoy the time with my family. Heard through the grapevine last night that my cousin Joe and his family are making a surprise visit tomorrow from Atlanta - I'll be suitably amazed at their arrival!
