I am struck by how composed Tim Russert's son Luke was in delivering his tribute to his father. I believe I heard that Luke was a communications major at BC. Even so, his poise was quite amazing. I am sure that his father would have been (is) very proud of his son.
This young man is the embodiment of the father/son relationship you spoke of in your Father's Day Post, Concord Pastor. Tim was a man who was about faith, family, friendship and respect; it seems his beloved son has learned well from his father.
This Sunday's readings are proper to June 29, the feast of Saints Peter and Paul.Click the bible above for the readings and some brief commentary.
