Love this and "The Summer Wind" by Frank Sinatra. Both songs are a bit before my time on their first go rounds, however, they both bring up fond memories of summers on the Cape.
This song brings lots of memories to me, as I'm sure it does to many. There's nothing like the feeling of being on the Cape. It helps take some of the worries away ... even for just a bit.
Wow does this bring back memories...my girlfriend and I, when we were about 10 would play this "45" over and over again while staying at her family home on the Cape...now I have a version of it, recorded by Anne Murray, on my iPod! It's the perfect summer song!! Enjoy these Cape Cod days CP!
Click on the bible above for this coming Sunday's readings and brief commentary on them...
