Three-year-old Morgan Riddick of Woonsocket, R.I., leaned on his father, Thomas, during a deployment ceremony of the 772nd Military Police Company, Massachusetts National Guard, on Taunton Green yesterday. Riddick is among 180 soldiers who left after the ceremony for a year of deployment in Iraq. The unit will be responsible for training, mentoring, and coaching Iraqi Police.
