Think about these things: whatever is...

Some friends from my parish go out for Chinese food at Chang An almost every Saturday night so the fortune cookie above is dedicated to them! It contains a significant "fortune" from this Sunday's second scripture, from Paul's letter to the Philippians.

The weekend is just ahead and that means we're invited to Sunday dinner at the Lord's house -- or on Saturday night before trooping off to Chang An.)

It will help if you take a look at what the Lord will be saying to us on Sunday. Skip to this earlier post to find not only the scriptures for the Lord's Day but also some background material on them. And if you have kids - take a look at the same post for a link to materials to help your children prepare to hear the Lord's Word.

All traits we wish we were, strive to be, grieve when we can't be, and have hope we might someday become.

  3. I guess... only God is all of these things.
...and maybe each of us, in the eyes and hope of God...

  4. Michelle,

There are many people out there that have those attributes. I am blessed to know two; my Aunt is one, a priest friend the other.

I work daily at home, work and play toward that goal...

Look around, I bet you now a few too! ROB
