I know everyone is busy about many things but a good way to slow down the frantic pace is to sit with the scriptures we'll hear on this coming weekend, the Fourth Sunday of Advent.

Every year the gospel on the last Sunday of Advent brings us to Mary, the Mother of Jesus. In the lectionary's Year B, we hear the story of the Annunciation - a beautiful way to prepare for celebrating Christ's birth on Christmas Day.
