Thanks for providing us with this additional information. John Allen has another good piece just posted on NCR.
I still wonder why the pope wants this group to come back into the fold. I think it would have been a better idea to let them continue to cool their heels or spin their wheels until they have a change of heart re their reactionary views. They should be the ones asking for reconciliation, not the other way around.
