Look at the birds in the sky;they do not sow or reap,they gather nothing into barns,yet your heavenly Father feeds them.Are not you more important than they?

There's no better way to prepare to celebrate Mass on the Lord's Day than to read, study and ponder the scriptures we'll hear proclaimed in our prayer!

Look at the birds in the sky! -- when I first began to think about my sermon for tomorrow, that was the working title. I ended up going in another direction altogether, but I still love the text as a title. Maybe in another cycle with a long Epiphany.
