Preach always: when necessary, use words...

The title of this post is a quotation usually attributed to St. Francis whose legacy is the motivation for The Gubbio Project, highlighted in the previous post.

There are several fine statements in the combox there but one, from Kelley, is a testimony to faith born of the Church's hospitality to the homeless, of the gospel preached in deeds more than words.  It's worth your time, right here.

  1. I posted a comment last week to say that I enjoyed Kelley's comment, but my comment didn't get posted. I will just say again I did enjoy Kelley's comment and that I hope he will return to your blog frequently, Concord Pastor. Those of us who tune in gain much from your blog.

  2. Awe shucks... I'm glad you liked my ramblings. *blushes* ;)

Rosemary... I've been a regular follower of this blog for a while now... I just tend to stay out the the comment section of blogs to avoid unneeded frustration. This isn't one of the blogs where it gets out of hand though... I guess it's just habit for me to avoid commenting at this point. BTW... I'm a female. :)
