A blanket of stars

If you're a regular reader here, you already know that I'm very taken this spring with what's happening in the world of flowers (herehere and here)!

I had occasion today to drive up to Eastern Point Retreat House in Gloucester on the north shore.

Just as I entered the road to Eastern Point I saw this blanket of stars spread along a stone wall.  I'm pretty sure it's Lithodora - perhaps a reader will confirm or correct my impression here.

It was beautiful - more beauty than my iPhone captured (click on the photos for larger versions) but I wanted to share it with you on this second day of spring.
