We wait for the day
when we will celebrate Christ's birthday
- and Christ waits with us...

when God will call each of us from this life
- and Christ waits with us...
We wait for the day at the end of time
when Christ will come again in glory
- and Christ waits with us...
In awaiting the day of his coming
we meet the love and mercy,
the compassion and presence
of the One for whom we wait,
who waits with us...
Come, Lord Jesus, come!
And be with us while we wait...
